Waitaki Resource Recovery Trust was establised in September 2003.

We currently employ 22 people (14.8 FTE's) and usually have 5 - 10 volunteers which may include long-term unemployed, community hours workers, work mentored, and IHC.
 

We Recycle the Following Key Resources

  • Paper
  • All plastic
  • Card
  • Steel (ferrous and non-ferrous)
  • Foam
  • Oil (cooking and motor)
  • Resale items
  • Mulch

The Services We Provide

We offer composting, worm farm & bokashi demonstrations
